Springfield Manufacturer Buckhorn Inc. to Add 80 Jobs

Springfield area manufacturer Buckhorn Inc. announced in December that it plans to create 80 new jobs, with plans to hire over half the employees immediately. Looking Forward: Goals for 2010

In December, the SBDC board of directors approved a new action plan for 2010 that departs from the usual format based on the Partnership for Prosperity II prospectus. The 2010 Action Plan takes heed to the suggestions of the Market Street competitive assessment released in October 2009 and will direct staff to tackle those areas that need improvement, while reinforcing our community’s strengths.
